前年度に行った予備的数値実験を基にして,連立させる２つの方程式に含まれる外生変数の共通化を行い，プロトタイプ・モデルを構築した．本研究では，最先端の計算技法を組み込んだ数値計算プログラム・パッケージをmaster方程式とDSKモデルの賃金方程式に適用した．これによって人口密度と実質賃金の時間・空間的変化の高精度な追跡が可能となり，人口移動モデルとDSKモデルを連立させても，迅速にその連立系の挙動を調べることができた．そのため短時間にモデルの修正と実験を繰り返すことができ，多くのプロトタイプ・モデルの検証が可能となった．次に，プロトタイプ・モデルの実証性を確かめるために数値実験を行った．前段階で得られたプロトタイプ・モデルを旧来の数理経済地理モデルと矛盾する点がないかどうかを検証するためにVon Thunen モデルとの整合性を数値実験により検証した．さらに，Krugmanにより指摘されている，自己組織化過程により都市が中核に位置し，周辺に複数の衛星都市が生まれるEdge Cityの形成過程が，私たちのプロトタイプ・モデルでも正しく再現できた．そして，数値実験結果を数理経済学の見地から検討してモデルの改良を行った．最終的に，プロトタイプ・モデルを改良して，最終的なモデルを決定した．完成したモデルに対して高精度の数値シミュレーションを実行して，震災被災地における労働力の流出と地域経済の崩壊過程の説明を試みた.
