项目摘要

開発途上国（以降、途上国）の急激な森林減少は、森林周辺の住民の生活に大きな影響を与えていると考えられる。本来、森林を減少させる開発には環境影響評価が適用されるべきであるが、途上国では資金・人的制約のために一般に適用されにくく、カンボジアも例外でない。本研究の第一目的は、住民の日常生活にとって重要となる非木材林産物採取に着目し、森林減少の影響を受けやすい住民の環境社会条件を明らかにすることであった。この分析には現地行政局の二次資料を援用することで、将来的に追加的費用を抑えた評価ができるよう配慮した。第二目的は、この評価手法を用いた森林減少の影響の分布の予測マッピングとその精度検証である。本研究の意義は、追加的費用や労力をかけない森林減少の影響評価手法の開発を試みたことにある。第一の目的は達成できた。研究成果を二報の論文にまとめ、一つ目の論文は林業経済学会学生論文賞を受賞した。二つ目の論文は、査読プロセスに予想外の時間を費やし初投稿から受理まで1年かかってしまったものの、国際誌に発行することができた。また、本研究成果を九州大学主催の国際シンポジウムで招待講演の形で発表した。第二の目的は残念ながら完全には達成できなかった。二つ目の論文の結果を基に現地調査計画を立て調査を実施する予定であったが、上述の通り同論文の受理に1年の歳月を要してしまったため現地調査の計画を立てるところまでで研究期間の完了時期を迎えることになった。しかしながら、その時間を利用して別の二つの論文原稿を執筆することができ、現在投稿準備中である。この二つの原稿を執筆することにより、現地調査計画がより具体的になった。今後は他の研究費を用いて現地調査を実施したいと考えている。

The forest on the way to the country (later, the country on the way) has been greatly reduced, and the lives of the residents around the forest have been greatly affected. Originally, the forest was reduced and the environmental impact assessment was applied. Restrictions on national capital and personnel apply to general regulations and exceptions to regulations. The first purpose of this study is to focus on the collection of non-timber forest products that are important in daily life of residents. The impact of forest reduction is affected by the environmental and social conditions of the residents and the environment and social conditions of the residents. The analysis is based on the use of secondary data from the current administrative bureau, and the future additional costs are evaluated and considered. The second purpose is to use the evaluation method to predict the distribution of the impact of forest reduction and verify its accuracy. The above-mentioned papers are accepted for 1 year.の歳月を要してしまったため On-site investigation plan を立てるところまででのEnd period を英えることになった.しかしながら、その时を用して比の二つのThe original manuscript of the paper is written by することができ, and it is now being prepared for submission. The original manuscript was written by Toshiko Kono, and the on-site survey plan was written by Toko Konoko, who was responsible for the detailed work. From now on, his research funds will be used to carry out on-site surveys and conduct research.
