昨年度実施した研究計画②に引き続き、本年度は研究計画①「侵略的外来アリの分布拡大による他のアリ類への影響評価」、について研究を実施した。また、計画外ではあるが「Bomb 14Cを用いた餌年齢調査」を行った。本年度は、既存の手法では検出が困難であった肉食性昆虫であるオオハリアリの食性の変化を検出する手法を開発し、肉食種における侵略性獲得メカニズムの解明に大きく前進した。また、オオハリアリの基礎生態についても様々な知見が得られた。
