本研究の目的は、ソ連崩壊から20年以上を経た現在のロシア社会における新異教主義運動の位相を民族誌として描き出すものである。欧米の新異教主義運動とも比較しつつ、ポスト社会主義時代に生じたロシア新異教主義の特殊性にせまるために、本年度は以下のような作業を行った：・新異教主義運動はポスト社会主義時代の急激な現象として注目を集めたため、ロシア語では一定程度の報告があるが、日本ではほとんど知られていない。まずこれまでの研究のレヴュー行うために文献収集を行った。・ロシア各地に存在する新異教主義団体に関する情報を、インターネットサイトで収集した。それにより、マイノリティ宗教、少数民族運動や自然保護運動との連携状況、および彼らの特異な歴史観が明らかになりつつある。・ロシア正教会と新異教主義が、相手に対して互いにどのような言説を繰り出しているのかに関して情報収集を行った。その結果、中世から続く異教と教会の戦いの現代的様相が明らかになりつつある。「正教」を名乗る新異教主義団体の存在なども明らかになり、ロシアにとって真の「正しい教え」は何かと問題が両者の中心にあることが浮き彫りになった。今年度は10月からの半年しかなかったため、成果発表は間にあわなかった。成果は今後、2015年8月に行われるInternational Council for Central and East European Studies (ICCEES) IX World Congress 2015などで報告していく予定である。
