日本とフランスにおける大学教育の改革の比較について，法学教育・法曹養成に焦点を当てて実施した．歴史分析，社会学的分析，および法哲学的分析の手法を組み合わせ，理論的に構築した以下の仮説の検証に努めた．すなわち，法学教育，法曹養成についての対極的観点が日仏の法学教育，法曹養成制度の間の相違を説明できるという仮説である．対極的観点とは，一方で，市場のニーズに即応する形で形成される法への要請に対応するような法学教育が望ましいという，アングロ・アメリカ法，とりわけグローバライズしているアメリカ法の観点があり，これは目的合理性，法道具主義を背景に持っており，日本においては法科大学院制度の導入の際に強く導入された．他方の観点とは，確立したプロフェッションとしての法専門家の再生産を目的とするべきであるという，大陸法，とりわけフランス法の観点であり，小さな法曹が望ましく，法と法曹への権威付けが重要であるという観点である．日仏両国において，厖大な文献資料の蒐集，法学者，法曹等の多数の関係者への面接調査などを通じて，上記の仮説が日仏の大学での法学教育の改革とその一定程度の成功（フランス）と，法科大学院の撤退や受験者の減少などの失敗（日本）を説明できることを明らかにした．以上の研究成果の一部は，2016年にRevue de la recherche juridique/Droit prospectif誌にフランス語で公表した．また，2018年4月にはFrench Politics誌に英語で研究成果の一部が公表される．さらに2019年には，第３の論文として，フランスの法学雑誌に掲載される．また，研究成果の全体像は単行本として出版する予定である．

In Japan, the collection of large literature data, the face-to-face investigation of most of the related persons of legal scholars, legal scholars, etc., the above-mentioned report shows that the reform of legal education in Japan's universities has achieved a certain degree of success, and the withdrawal of law colleges and the reduction of recipients have failed. One of the above research results was published in 2016 in the Revue de la recherche juridique/Droit prospectif. In April 2018, a section of the French Politics Journal English research results was published. In 2019, the third paper was published in the Journal of Legal Science. All the research results are published in advance.
