项目摘要

2017年度は前年度からの課題を引き継ぎ、次の二点を中心に研究を進めた。第一に、社会運動のあり方を規定する文化、国家構造、そして社会関係資がどのように感情の表出、また共有に影響するか検討するため、日米の事例に加え、第三の事例であるチェルノブイリ原子力発電所事故が起きたウクライナでの現地調査を行った。チェルノブイリ原子力発電所事故が発生した当時のウクライナは、ソビエト連邦の一部であり、共産主義国家であった。国家が市民社会に強く介入する場合、個人の感情の表出また共有はどのように行われるのか、もしくは行われないのか。共同調査者のEkatherina Zhukova（Lund大学）の協力を得て、2017年10月1日～7日の期間中、事故当時、そして現在も原子力発電所近くに住み続ける地元住民、計8人に対し通訳を通じインタビューを行った。現在、それらのインタビューデータを分析し、共同調査者との共著論文を執筆予定である。第二に、新たな分析手法としてKHCoderによるテキスト分析を試みた。これまでの研究では、感情の種類、また表出や共有のあり方の観察分析を行ってきた。しかし、主観的かつ複雑な感情をどのように客観的に測定し、可視化するか、またどのように実証するかに対し大きな課題が残った。本研究ではKhCoderでのテキスト分析を通じ感情の測定、また可視化を試みた。KhCoderとはテキスト型（文章型）データを統計的に分析するためのフリーソフトウェアである。日米の事例における住民会議の書き起こし、また当時のインタビュー記録などをKhCoderで分析することによって、感情の実証を行えるのではないかと考える。現在、分析中であり、5th Joint Seminar on Urban Study for Young Scholarsにて分析結果を発表予定である（2018年5月）。
