平成29年度の研究成果としては、2017年9月に、修士課程から取り組んでいた原節子と京マチ子、高峰秀子、若尾文子を対象とするスター女優の分析から原節子と京マチ子のパートを発展させ、『スター女優の文化社会学――戦後日本が欲望した聖女と魔女』として書籍化した。また、査読付き単著論文の成果に関しては、2017年4月に表象文化論学会の学会誌『表象12』に、森鴎外原作の『雁』の映画化とそのリメイク作品をあつかい比較分析を行った論文「映像化される 『雁』の世界――戦後日本映画における女性表象の生成過程をめぐって」が掲載された。また、同年9月にも、日本社会学会の学会誌『社会学評論』に論文「映画スターへの価値転換――1950年代のスクリーンにおける観客の欲望モードの文化的変遷」が掲載された。この２本は刊行した単著に含まれておらず、博士論文で時代を広げたときに主軸になるものである。資料の調査に関しては、本年度は国外の調査に行けなかったものの、国内を中心として調査は継続して行うことができた。主に、早稲田大学演劇博物館でのプレス資料の調査、国会図書館や大学の図書館での雑誌メディアの調査に加え、松竹大谷図書館と川喜多記念文化財団の資料室での脚本やプレスシートの調査、さらに必要な参考文献を入手するため関西へも出張した。また１年目から収集していた占領期の検閲資料のアーカイブを整理した。後は戦前の雑誌資料と1950年代後半の資料を集めれば、博士論文を完成させることができると思われる。以上、本年度は、活字化したものを中心に、それまで書いてきた研究成果を書籍や論文として刊行できた。
