1. 彝語文献に関する調査・研究：2017年8月に京都大学文学研究科図書館にて彝語文献調査を行い、当該文献の方言を同定。現在は、その内容を分析中である。2018年3月、中国北京中央民族大学にて、インフォーマントと共に在欧彝語文献2巻の解読作業を開始。新たな知見を得た。本解読作業は現在も継続中である。同年3月、イギリス大英図書館にて文献調査を行い、文献言語に関するデータを収集。なお、当該調査をもって、在欧彝語文献全てのデジタル化作業を終了した。これに伴い、これまでに作成していた在欧彝語文献のカタログ内容の最終チェック・修正に着手した。また、収集したデジタルデータの整理・分析・解読作業を進め、その結果を構築中のコーパスに随時反映させた。2. 現代彝語方言・彝族の民族文化の調査・研究：2017年9月、2017年12月-2018年1月：中国雲南省石林県彝族第一村などにおいて彝語東南部方言の二重使役など様々な使役表現について調査し、そのデータをコーパスに入力した。また、当該方言の使役表現に関する論文を執筆した（掲載決定）。2017年12月には中国雲南省石林県糯黒村にて宗教儀式の一つ「密枝節」の調査、及び当地の小学校において実施されている「バイリンガル教育」に関する調査を行った。3. 彝語文献言語・現代彝語方言のコーパス構築：上記1,2の通り、彝語文献、現代彝語方言の調査結果は、随時コーパスに反映させた。そして、本コーパスを基に彝文字地図を作成した。本彝文字地図の分析結果については、2017年5月に国際学会で発表。また、本彝文字地図の分析を発展させ、彝文字簡略化のタイプを導き出した。そして、そこから推測した文字の変遷パターン・変遷の順序について、2017年11月の国際学会で発表した。
