项目摘要

平成28年度は、二回の海外調査と一回の国際会議発表を行った。海外調査は、ブルガリアでの文書史料調査と建築・都市調査、ならびにキプロスでの建築・都市調査である。ブルガリア国立図書館ブルガリア歴史アーカイヴにおける調査では、研究課題に沿い、19世紀のブルガリア正教徒貿易商でドナウ沿いの商港都市のなかでも特にスビシトフとルセに事業拠点を持った商人の帳簿・書簡・不動産売買文書等を重点的に収集した。ルセの国立文書館では、19世紀のブルガリア正教徒自治組織の税金徴収関係文書を重点的に調査した。ルセでは、以上の文書の内容から判明した当時の商業建築の位置や遺構を確認する調査と、実際に都市を踏査して街路・街区形態と都市組織から旧市街の商業地区を遡及的に復元するための調査を行った。当地の歴史学研究者とも文書・絵図史料や研究課題について情報交換を行った。ヴェリコ・タルノヴォ国立文書館では、19世紀の商人に関する文書、土地証書、ワクフ文書など本研究課題に関する文書史料の収集をひととおり終えることができた。キプロスにおける建築・都市調査は、主要四都市（ニコシア、リマソル、ラルナカ、パフォス）とトロドス山脈で行った。キプロスにはオスマン朝時代の宗教・商業建築が数多く残されており、中心商業地区も近世の都市構造を残していることから、ブルガリアの大都市ではすでに失われている近世の都市構造を復元的に検討するための有用な比較材料を得ることができた。キプロスのニコシアで行われた「中世・ビザンツ学会議2017」では、近年調査をし始めたバルカン半島側アドリア海沿岸諸都市の一つであるモンテネグロの港町コトルの都市構造の変遷に関する研究発表を行った。

The "2017 China International Conference on Science and Technology" was held in Beijing. In recent years, a survey was conducted on the urban structure of coastal cities on the Korean Peninsula.
