前年度に引き続き，身体的自己感覚（身体や運動に対して経験する“私”という感じ）がどのようにアイデンティティ等の概念的自己感覚に関連するかを検討した。身体・経験の所有感が自己一貫性を予測するという我々の先行知見を，異なる集団で再現したうえで，パーソナリティ自己評定に関する過去と現在の一致度を所有感が予測することも示した。これらの調査結果を論文にまとめて公刊する予定である。他方，身体運動がもたらす感情的認知処理に及ぼす影響も検討した。空間の上下と感情のポジ／ネガティブとのメタファ的連合は認知システムに組み込まれており，これが上下方向の身体運動に活性化されて感情的認知処理を促進することが知られていた。我々は，こうした身体運動が感情的処理を調整する時間的要因すなわち運動と感情刺激の順序や随伴性の影響を調べた。結果，刺激呈示前でも刺激呈示しばらく後でもなく，刺激呈示の直後に運動した場合に限って生じる効果であることを突き止めた。この成果は国際誌に掲載された。最後に，身体的な不随意性たとえば身体を動かせないことや生理機能に制約されていることが，どのように行為の随意性の信念（自由意志信念）に影響するかを調べた。先行研究で報告されていた，尿意などの生理“状態”の制御と自由意志信念との関連は再現されなかった。重要なことに，片頭痛や視覚過敏など，行動を制約しうる“特性”を有する者では自由意志信念が弱いことを示した。予想に反して，運動を顕著に制約するケガは自由意志信念とは関連なく，これについての考察やさらなる検討が必要である。以上のように，得られた成果もある一方，要検討・要出版事項が山積みであり，今後さらなる研究を進めていく。
