项目摘要

元来のテーマである明治維新期の銭貨については，昨年の社会経済史学会大会での報告を前提に、幕末期の内容について『社会経済史学』に投稿を行ったが、掲載には至らなかった。また明治期以降の内容についても、昨年の史学会大会での報告を前提に、『歴史と経済』に投稿を行い、現在査読中である。銭貨の種類ごとに異なる状況に注目し、銭貨流通の国際性に留意して研究した。特殊な銭貨の価格体系について明らかにし、政策面では井上馨大蔵大輔や大隈重信大蔵卿の銭貨政策について論じた。また明治期の財政史的研究を進展させることができた。大隈の思想面に意見書類を駆使して接近を試み、その金融政策論を分析した。その上で具体的政策の分析として、財政面を中心に一般歳出と準備金の両面に分割し、西南戦争後の正貨蓄積・正貨支出抑制について検討した。こうした研究については、現時点では十分に発表するに至っておらず、今後成果として纏めていきたい。昨年度以来、人文情報学にも関わってきたが、本年度はその成果をまとめ、公表することができた。「公文録」全体の定量的分析や計量文献学的分析を行い、こうした結果を東大で行った、4月のシンポジウム（2018 Spring Tokyo Digital History Symposium）で報告することができた。それを受けて共著論文（小風尚樹・福田真人（他）「対話の場としてのデジタルアーカイブ」『歴史学研究』974号）を執筆した。さらに追加的調査を加え、秋ごろにはJADH、政治経済学・経済史学会などで口頭報告を行い、その際有益な議論をすることができた。その他にも、専門外の中世史の研究書で苦労した点も多かった書評（「書評高木久史著『近世の開幕と貨幣統合」『政治経済史学会』61巻1号）が公刊された。また、『史学雑誌』の「回顧と展望（経済Ⅰ）」を執筆し、本年度の研究史を悉皆的に検討・整理した。
