项目摘要

本研究は、加速的に都市化がすすむアフリカ社会の変動を明らかにするために、これまで着目されることの少なかった女性の都市的な経済活動（市場の農作物ビジネス）に焦点をあて、農作物ビジネスをとりまく3つの社会変化に着目し、都市社会の変動にたいする女性商人の対処の諸相を検証した。1.農村女性の農作物販売の日常化と都市進出：農村女性／都市女性商人の相互関係の動態として、農村女性／都市女性商人の取引関係が、かつての都市－農村間の価格差に依拠した取引関係から、より経済合理性や対等な交渉に根ざす取引関係に移行しつつある実態を明らかにした。2.民間金融業者の増加：近代的金融システム／在来の経済互助組織の相互関係の動態として、民間金融業の参入が商人の資金調達手段の選択肢を増やし、これを利用して経営規模の拡大をはかる商人が現れた一方、経済機能に限定された民間金融サービスに利点を見出さない商人が多く存在することが明らかになった。民間金融業／在来の互助組織の利用をめぐって、商人の選択が二極化している。3.都市開発計画の実施による市場の構造改革：都市行政と市場商人の相互関係の動態として、空間的・組織的な行政改革がおこなわれる一方、市場には、商人たちが独立前後期から自律的に形成してきた市場の秩序が強化されていることが明らかになった。都市行政による市場の管理は、市「場」を形成する商人との交渉の連続であり、市「場」の秩序と共同性は、都市行政に働きかける政治性として機能しているいえる。以上の成果をふまえ、多様なアクターへの対処・交渉によって獲得される（と期待される）社会的資源の多様性や行為目的の多元性を検証し、女性商人の主体的な生活構築の過程を考察した論文を執筆し、成果の一部を口頭にて発表した。とくに女性の生活実態から現代アフリカ都市の社会動態を実証的に明らかにした点が本研究の意義である。

This study aims to demonstrate the acceleration of urbanization and social mobility, and the focus of women's urban business activities (market and crop development) on the social mobility of crop development and urban social mobility. 1. The implementation of urban development plan and the structural reform of the market: the dynamics of the relationship between urban administration and market merchants, the spatial and organizational administrative reform, the formation of self-discipline before and after the independence of the market, the strengthening of the market order City administration, city "field" formation, business and social interaction, city "field" order, city administration and social interaction The above results are presented in the paper, which is written and part of the results is presented orally. The significance of this study lies in the fact that women's life is changing from modern to urban social dynamics.
