１，これまでに『大東詩集』伝本11種、即ち都立中央図書館蔵加賀文庫本、中之島図書館蔵石崎家旧蔵本、龍谷大学図書館蔵写字台文庫三冊本、同一冊本、尼崎市立地域研究史料館蔵堀江家蔵書本、内藤記念くすり博物館蔵大同薬室文庫本（以上天明二年版三巻本）、臼杵図書館蔵稲葉家旧蔵本（以上天明二年版七巻本）、早大図書館本（寛政十一年版七巻本）、東北大学図書館蔵狩野文庫本、宮城県立図書館蔵本、福岡大学図書館蔵中野文庫本（写本）の11種の伝本について、類型別に整理し伝本を系統立て、Ⅰ天明二年三巻本、Ⅱ天明二年七巻本、Ⅲ寛政十一年七巻本の3系統に整理して、この順に増補されたものと推定した。七巻本には、早大図書館本と臼杵図書館蔵稲葉家旧蔵本があるが、原版の舟木藻雅堂版による七巻本は臼杵図書館蔵本のみが確認される。早大本とは入集作品の異なるものもあり、臼杵本が舟木藻雅堂による編集形態を伝えるものと確定した。２，これを承けて、臼杵図書館蔵稲葉家旧蔵本七巻本を底本として、これによって校定本文の作成及び本文校異を行い、校異付き本文を整定した。一方で、臼杵図書館蔵稲葉家旧蔵本七巻本を底本としての『大東詩集』本文に、追加する形で、早大図書館本（寛政十一年七巻本）の増補部分を明記した本文を作成することとした。３，これまでに、文学史的研究として、所収詩人の伝記的調査を実施した。その際、所収詩の出処、他の詩集との重なり等の調査を進め、『大東詩集』所収詩の位置づけを行うこととした。これまでに確認している『蓬蒿詩集』等のほか、新たに所収詩人の別集や他の総集について直接関わるような他の詩集は今のところ見出しにくい。これについての評価を検討しつつある。
