项目摘要

申請者の平成30年の研究実績は二つになる。１．一つはSocial Indicators Researchに掲載した「How Can we Achieve a Sustainable Redistributive Policy? Rethinking the Relationship Between Civic Engagement, Neighborhood Relationship and Labor Market Status 」である。この論文では申請者が院生メンバーとして参加したSSP調査のデータを利用した。この研究で申請者は再分配に対する支持が自己利益だけでなく、民主主義と共同体の復元という観点からも説明できることを明らかにした。２．二つは申請者の博士論文がある。この博士論文で申請者は再分配の歴史的な背景と研究動向を批判的に考察した後、主観的解釈と社会的関係という二つの柱を中心に再分配支持のメカニズムを説明した。研究分野に対する貢献は以下の二つである。第一に、再分配支持に関する研究のパラダイムが、自己利益の合理性から主観性と民主主義の原理に徐々に移行していることを確認できた。人々は経済的な自己利益を達成するために再分配を支持すると言い切れない。民主主義社会における共生という言葉を持って理解することも必要である。第二に、再分配の支持はジェンダーの問題でもあることを確認できた。これまでの研究では家族を福祉政策の基礎単位として扱ってきたが、家族内部のジェンダー不平等を考えると、家族を福祉の基礎単位として扱うことは慎重にするべきである。
