本年度のおもな研究実績は、学会発表2回である。具体的には、2019年度日本近代文学会関西支部秋季大会、神戸大学・北京外国語大学第4回国際共同研究拠点シンポジウムにおいて研究発表をおこなった。前者では、古井由吉の後期作品である『神秘の人びと』（1996年）における神秘主義受容の実態検証を出発点として、同時代（1970年代から1990年代）のオカルトブームとの並行性を裏づけつつ、作家のキーワードである「内向」という方法論の展開のうちに作品を位置づけることを目指した。古井のみにとどまらず、90年代文学の一側面を明らかにする試みである。後者では、1970年以降の文化状況の歴史的記述という本研究課題を遂行するものとして、平成期の文学の歴史的記述の（不）可能性を検証しており、ポストヒストリカルな時代における「文学史」のありかたについて考察している。本研究の最終的な成果は博士論文としてまとめられる予定である。さらに広義の研究実践として、自らの研究成果をウェブ媒体等で積極的に発信した。たとえば、おもな研究対象である古井由吉を紹介する記事を依頼原稿としてウェブで執筆した。記事では、従来の研究では未分化であった50年以上にわたる古井由吉の活動時期を4分類することを提唱するなどしており、研究活動の一環として位置づけてよいと考える。
