项目摘要
As implant materials, high mechanical properties of hydrogels and biocompatibility are required. To accomplish these requirements, carboxymethyl ether group-modified polyrotaxanes (CME-PRXs) were introduced to gelatin hydrogels. Firstly, not only stretchability and toughness but also hysteresis in gelatin hydrogels cross-linked by CME-PRXs were significantly improved than those of EDC/NHS. Next, the gelatin hydrogels cross-linked CME-PRXs also had cytocompatibility compared to EDC/NHS-cross-linked gelatin hydrogels and the cellular orientation on gelatin hydrogels could be regulated by the threaded number of α-CDs onto CME-PRXs under stretching state. It was verified that gelatin hydrogels cross-linked by CME-PRXs can be applied as implant materials.
