项目摘要

前年度において本研究は、ソ連における文学等の芸術領域と比較することによってソヴィエト音楽の特徴を明らかにするという申請当初の計画から、ソ連の音楽創作イデオロギーとは馴染みづらかったはずの室内楽ジャンルが実際には高い社会的評価を受けていたことという、ソヴィエト音楽の特徴的な一要素を分析する方針へと変化していった。本年度（2019年度）の研究によって、1930年代初頭においては社会的な意義付けが明確に行われていなかったソヴィエト室内楽が、音楽家の活動やそれに対する聴衆の支持によって1940年前後の時期に社会的評価を獲得し、1940年代終わりまでにソヴィエト音楽の重要な一ジャンルとしての地位を獲得したという、ソヴィエト室内楽史の全容が浮かび上がってきた。具体的な研究のうちで主なものは、本年度の6-7月および11-12月に行ったロシアでの資料調査である。6-7月はモスクワのロシア国立文学芸術アーカイブ（RGALI）で、主に前年度から継続してきた当時の演奏会プログラムに関する調査を行った。11-12月にはサンクトペテルブルクにも赴いて同様の調査を行うとともに、モスクワでは国立音楽博物館での研究も行った。新しい資料の中で特に重要だったのは、モスクワ・フィルハーモニー協会の会計簿やソヴィエト音楽デカーダ（国営の音楽祭）の報告書といった、演奏会の来場者数を示す記録である。これにより、作曲家や演奏家、あるいは文化行政関係組織の動向を追うのみでは不明瞭だった、実際の演奏会の開催状況を推測することが可能となった。こうした本年度の調査結果や前年度の研究成果を元に、1930年代のソヴィエト室内楽に対する社会的評価、国家賞であるスターリン賞選定の場における室内楽に関する議論、1940年代のモスクワにおける室内楽演奏会レパートリーの傾向といったテーマについて、学会報告や論文発表を行った。
