My findings in FY2018 and FY2019 were compiled into two manuscripts, entitled “Signaling Pathways in the Coral Polyp Bail-out Response” and “Morphological and Genetic Recovery of Coral Polyps After Bail-out”. In FY2020, these two manuscripts were officially accepted by the journals Coral Reefs and Frontiers in Marine Science, respectively. Meanwhile, I analyzed the RNAseq data collected in FY2019. Significant genetic differences were identified between solitary polyps and intact coral colonies. A manuscript entitled “Genetic changes involving the coral gastrovascular system and activin signaling system support the transition from solitary polyps to colonial corals: Evidence from a Pocillopora acuta transcriptome” was prepared and was submitted to the journal BMC Genomics in April 2021.
一份名为“Genetic changes involving the coral gastrovascular system and activin signaling system support the transition from solitary polyps to colonial corals:Evidence from a Pocillopora acuta transcriptome”的手稿已于2021年4月提交予《BMC Genomics》杂志。
