2022年度当初に中国での現地調査の困難が予想されたため、国内調査による新たなアプローチを試みた。まず、中国の文人画と深い関係があるものの中国美術史の視点からの研究は進んでいない日本の文人画家、特に中国の詩文や文化への造詣が深く、先行研究によってその生涯や思想などに関する文献資料がまとめられている田能村竹田の画業について、倣古的側面（中国画学習）と実景描写の関係を、代表的作品を網羅的に調査し研究を進めた。そこで、竹田の中国画学習の機会を確認し、それが作品へどのように表れているのかを確認し、特に実景山水画制作における中国画の参照について分析を行った。また、竹田の次の世代の近代の日本の南画家の作品調査を行い、両者の間にみられる情報量の圧倒的な差が、画風の大きな変化をもたらし、特に実景図制作に大きな差が現れていることを把握した。これらの調査を通じて、中国の文人画家たちに共通する傾向として、古画学習機会の多寡を実景山水図制作との関係を捉える視点を得た。このような視点から、倣古画で知られる正統派の王原祁と、倣古を否定し実景（黄山）に学ぶと繰り返し明言した個性派画家石涛という、同い年の全く異なる環境の画家たちが、その出会いの後、王原祁に実景図制作が見られ、石涛に王原祁画の影響が見られることに着目し考察を行った。さらに、古画学習機会の多寡という視点によって、元の文人山水画成立期に重要な役割を果たした趙孟フ［兆頁］と元末四大家のうち黄公望や王蒙などの実景山水を多く描いた画家たちについて、彼らの古画へのアクセス状況や環境の差がもたらした作画の特色を検証する作業を始めた。そして、彼らが自らの画風を確立していく上で、実景山水画制作がこれまで考えられていた以上に大きな意味を持っていたことを確認した。

We will confirm the opportunity to study China painting in Takeda, confirm the meaning of his works, and conduct a reference and analysis of Chinese painting in the production of special landscape paintings. In the investigation of modern Japanese southern painters of different generations, the differences between the amount of information, the changes of painting style, and the differences between the production of special scenes are grasped. The survey shows that there is a common tendency among China literati and painters, and there are many opportunities for learning ancient paintings. Wang Yuanqi, Wang Yuanqi, Wang Yuan In addition, the number of opportunities for learning ancient paintings and the number of viewpoints, the Yuan Dynasty literati landscape painting establishment period, the important service cut, the fruit of Zhao Mengfei [million pages], the four great families of the Yuan Dynasty, Huang Gongwang, Wang Meng, the real landscape, the painting of the artist, the ancient painting, the state of the environment, the difference of the environment, the characteristics of the painting, the examination of the operation began. The painting style is established, and the landscape painting production is confirmed.
