项目摘要

本研究課題では、東大寺領伊賀国黒田荘故地（現三重県名張市一帯）を主要なフィールドとし、讃岐国善通寺領故地（現香川県善通寺市内）を補足的なフィールドとし、前近代の地域社会の景観・構造の歴史過程を、荘園絵図や文献史資料、現地調査をもとに明らかにしている。2022年度のおもな研究実績は下記の通りである。【黒田荘故地の調査】2020年度以降、地球規模で広がった新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響によって中断していた黒田荘故地の現地調査は、2022年度3月に再開することが出来た。調査活動再開に伴い、改めて現地協力者との会合の機会を持ち、今後の調査方針を議論するとともに、現地に残る区有文書（名張市黒田地区）について若干の資料調査も行うことが出来た。【善通寺文書の包括的調査】昨年度から引き続き、善通寺宝物館に所蔵する中世史料を中心とした調査を行った。2022年度は、とりわけ土蔵に残された未整理の聖教類の調査も行うことができた。土蔵に残された未整理聖教のすべての調査を年度内に完了することは出来なかったが、残った史料については2023年度に調査を行う予定である。なお、この善通寺文書の調査活動は東京大学史料編纂所一般共同研究「香川県下所在の中世史料の調査と史料学的研究」（研究代表者：守田逸人）とも連動させた。【善通寺領故地の現地調査】2022年度も讃岐国善通寺領の領域全体を描いた「善通寺領絵図」の精査とともに、善通寺にて調査した文献史料の情報や、地域住民が保存してきた史資料の情報、地域に残る伝承等の調査と検証作業を行い、GISに登録への作業を進めた。
