项目摘要

ラムゼー・モデルを基本的解析ツールとするマクロ動学一般均衡分析では、一国の経済成長と景気循環について現在まで盛んに研究されてきたが、【地域間資本移動】をともなう異時点間の資源配分については、十分に考察されてきたとは言い難い。各地域を相異なる複数の経済主体に見立てると、均衡経路では割引因子の相違でしか【地域間資本移動】を説明できないのが、その理由である。本研究では、効用関数と生産技術に立地パラメータを付与した【空間特性を考慮したラムゼー・モデル】に依拠し、共通な割引因子を持つ単一経済主体の無限期間効用最大化問題を定式化した上で均衡経路を特徴づける。割引因子の相違をモデルから完全に取り除くことにより、新古典派の標準的仮定を満たさない非凸選好と規模に関する収穫逓増が併存する生産技術の下では、【経済成長の地域格差】が時間選好率以外の要因で生じることを示す。さらに【パレート効率性】と【地域間衡平性】を同時に満たす経路が存在する経済学的条件も明らかにする。上記の問題意識の下、令和４年度は無限人経済の一般均衡モデルにおいて、非凸選好の下でも【厚生経済学の第二基本定理】が成り立つことを明らかにした。時間視野が無限期間の標準的ラムゼー・モデルでは、単一の代表的経済主体の異時点間意思決定は無限人経済の一般均衡モデルの枠組みで捉えることができる。【空間特性を考慮したラムゼー・モデル】の予備的考察として、新古典派の標準的仮定を満たさない静学モデルにおいて、【パレート効率性】が競争的市場メカニズムで実現できることを示した点で、この結果は今後の研究の出発点になるものである。現在、この結果をまとめた論文執筆の最終段階にあり、海外のジャーナルに投稿する予定である。
