コロナ禍という有事において、障害者の生はどう扱われてきたのか、それを倫理学ではどのように検討されているのかについて調べた。日本語文献を渉猟し、そのうち代表的な文献をいくつか紹介した。その結果、この社会と同じく、障害者の生のことなど一顧だにされていないことがわかった。そのことを、障害者介護の事業所で勤務する人たちの書き物からあぶりだした。これは、この社会と同様に、倫理学が障害者の存在を前提としていないことを意味する。そのようなことを、『現代生命哲学研究』第12号に論文「新型コロナウイルスと倫理――障害者の視点から」として書いた。
