本研究の目的は、日本語教育人材に必要な資質・能力として明記された態度の涵養を軸とし、構成主義的学習観に基づく教師養成プログラム開発に向けた有用な知見を得ることにある。このため、日本語教育人材養成プログラム教育内容に関する実態調査、並びに、構成主義的学習観に基づいた日本語教育人材養成プログラムの開発に取り組んでいく。2年目となる2022年度は2021年度に実施した調査での知見や成果を基に、具体的なプログラム開発にあたる基礎研究となる海外並びに国内の教師養成プログラムにおける知見の集積に努めた。また、引き続き、構成主義的な教育観、学習観に立脚する日本語教員養成のあり方や、日本語教育人材に必要な資質・能力のうち、態度に関して、研修プログラムに適用可能な形での検討をかさねた。2022年度には、2021年度に実施した外国籍の生徒を多く抱えている高等学校現場で授業サポートに携わる日本語・ポルトガル語のバイリンガル職員Ａさんへのインタビューの結果をまとめ、報告した。Aさんの業務は、生徒が日本で初めて学ぶ概念を日本語、並びに母語で仲介すること、学習者の学びを阻害する壁を崩すという態度をもって、学ぶ姿勢、態度を保障することであることを指摘し、日本語教育人材に必要な態度と仲介概念のつながりを指摘した。また、2022年度の調査では、海外の教師養成の動向として構成主義的教育観に基づいて実施された海外の外国語教師養成に関する文献調査を進め、また、国内では先進的な研修プログラム開発に携わった開発者へのインタビュー調査を進めている。これらの研究調査結果は理念策定、プログラム開発の具体的なプロセスにおいても重要なFBになると考えている。
