今年度は、新型コロナウイルス感染症による渡航制限が緩和されたため、インドネシアにおけるフィールド調査を実施することができた。①LGBTQに関する資料精査：昨年度から引き続きLGBTQに関連する二次資料を精査した。具体的には、LGBTQおよびジェンダーにかんする論文集や研究報告、研究書を購入し精査した。また、Human Rights WatchやAmnesty International等の国際人権団体が発行するレポートを入手し、東南アジアおよびインドネシアで発生しているLGBTQへの差別や暴力行為にかんする現状分析を行った。②量的テキスト分析：令和3年度に収集したテキスト・データを用いて、量的テキスト分析を開始した。具体的には、収集したテキスト・データをLSSモデルを用いて分析し、LGBTQに関する国家政策や宗教的言説の変容を分析した。また、新たにTwitterにおける言論分析の開始を試みるために、Twitter社にAPI利用（アカデミック用）の申請を行った。①の資料精査および②の量的テキスト分析の成果を2022年11月にインドネシアのスラバヤで開催された国際学会において報告した。内容は、現代インドネシアにおけるLGBTQをめぐる言論について、モラル・パニックと呼ばれる2016年からの経年変化を明らかにするために、LGBTQに関連するニュースの報道トーンの変容を追った。これによって、人びとはLGBTQに対する暴力的な弾圧は非難するものの、法的な規制には肯定的な姿勢を示すことが明らかとなった。
