タイのコミュニティ開発は従来、コミュニティ全体を対象とするものであり、オンサイトの開発では、土地分有事業や区画整備等を応用した様々な手法がコミュニティの状況に応じて展開されてきた。これに対し、小規模住民組織（SG）を単位としたコミュニティ開発は、2003年にコミュニティ組織開発機構（CODI）の都市貧困層コミュニティにおける住環境整備事業（BMP）で本格的に導入され始めており、いわば事業を円滑に遂行するためのツールとして位置づけることができる。本研究の目的は、「目的遂行型SG」の開発特性と比較検証しつつ、農村コミュニティにおけるコミュニティ・ベースド・ツーリズム（CBT）等でみられる「テーマ型SG」における開発特性を明らかにし、持続可能な観光の観点により、計画論的視点からその有効性を分析することである。本研究で対象とした展開事例を分析し、住民の合意形成を図る目的でソフトシステムを組み込んだSGを単位とした開発手法を構築し、持続可能な地域づくりの発展に資することを最終的な目標としている。2022年度におけるタイでの現地調査は、2022年8月と2023年3月に実施した。また、余暇ツーリズム学会、日本観光研究学会、International Conference on Tourism Sciences2023等の発表大会への参加を通して、これまでに得られた知見・データ等の整理をすることができた。また、2023年2月2日に開催された中能登スローツーリズム協議会主催のワークショップにて「小規模住民組織を単位としたコミュニティ開発手法」と題して、成果報告した際に、出席者の方々と本研究で得られた成果に対して活発な議論を行うことができた。

On February 2, 2023, we will be able to sign up for the organization of small-scale model residents on February 2, 2023, and the participants will be able to register the results of the project, the results report and the participants in this study.
