介助者2名により自力避難困難者1名が階上に避難する避難器具を開発し、その避難方法と避難時間を提示することを課題とする。避難器具モデルは人力で引き上げ、直接乗車も車いすに乗った状態で乗車も可能な仕様を検討している。避難行程を想定した実験系を設定し、モデルにダミーを乗せて階上への避難を試技とした実験を実施し、さらに安全性を確保した上で人を乗せた実験を実施する。実験結果、考察から階上への避難方法と避難時間を提示し、目標の達成度を判断する。高齢者施設の自力避難が困難な入所者と介助者を対象とし、津波、水害などで施設の階上に避難を余儀なくされた場合を想定し、限られた条件で自力避難が困難な入所者が介助を伴い建物内の上の階に避難する器具を開発し、その避難方法を検討する。施設の夜間勤務帯での津波、水害発生を想定し、介助者2名の人力により、自力避難が困難な入所者1名が階段から1つ上の階に1分以内で避難することを目標とする。令和3年度は、避難器具モデル仕様を検討し、設計製作を委託する。予備実験を実施し、モデルによる実験条件に必要な知見を得る。予備実験は階段にスロープを設置し、標準型車椅子にダミー(重量50kg)を乗せ、介助者2名で引き上げる。対照として従来の避難用ストレッチャーによる引き上げ動作の実験を実施する。令和4年度は製作したモデルの性能を確認する。ダミーをモデルに乗せ、基本的な操作、移動を安全に実施可能か確認する。令和5年度は、実験の安全を確保した上で、20歳以上の健常被験者(体重50～60kg)を避難者として、実験を実施する。避難者は全介助を想定し、乗車前後の移乗方法を検討する。避難者には避難時の不安感や快適性などについて主観評価を実施する。
