本研究はEPA介護福祉士のキャリアがどのように構築されているかを探るものである。具体的には、「キャリア構築理論」にもとづきライフストーリーインタビューを行った。令和4年度は１）協力者Aのインタビューデータの分析の精緻化、２）キャリアおよびその周辺領域の文献の読み込み、３）協力者Bへの２回目のインタビューを行った。１）協力者Aの分析は令和３年度にいったん終えたが、原稿執筆にあたり再分析する必要が生じ、精緻化を行った上で、協力者Aの仮のストーリーを作成した。その後、協力者Aに確認をしてもらい、協力者Aの指摘をもとにストーリーの修正を行った。２）キャリア研究の理論的発展をまとめるにあたり、「キャリア構築理論」関連文献および他のキャリア理論に関する文献を読み込み、理論の変遷、理論間の相違などについて整理を行った。１）と２）をもとに原稿執筆を行い、現在推敲中である。３）協力者Ｂの２回目のインタビューを行った。協力者Ｂへの１回目のインタビューでは、日本で働く現在までの状況が大まかにわかったものの、日本を選択する理由や幼少期を含む母国での状況への理解が進まなかったため、２回目を実施した。２回目のインタビューにより母国の社会・経済状況が日本を選択する要因となっていたと同時に、協力者Ｂの幼少期の日本にかかわる経験も大きかったことがわかった。今後は、今回新しく得たデータと前回データから協力者Ｂのストーリーの作成および分析を進めていく予定である。
