项目摘要

2022年度においては、まず論文一本が日本英語学会の発行するEnglish Linguisticsに掲載決定し、現在校正最終段階にある。本研究は本科研費の研究課題であるpair-Mergeについて、特に先行研究であまり議論されていないInternal pair-Mergeの詳細を議論したものであり、生成文法研究において理論的に有意義なものであると考える。また掲載誌であるEnglish Linguisticsは日本における生成文法研究者の間では最高峰といっても過言ではない扱いを受けており、ここに掲載されるということは分野において一定の評価を得たとみてよいと考えられる。さらに当該論文は英語論文であることから、国内のみならず国際的にも研究内容を発信することにつながったと考える。次に口頭発表に関しては、日本英文学会第94回大会においてシンポジウム企画を行い、司会者及び発表者として登壇した。本シンポジウムにおける発表内容は、本研究課題のpair-Mergeについての考察に加え、これを別のメカニズムから導き出すことができないかという、本課題を終了した後の研究方向の可能性についても検証を行ったものである。全国学会のシンポジウムであるため、情報発信において非常に有益な機会であったと考える。また日本英文学会東北支部第77回大会においても共同発表として口頭発表を行い、情報発信に努めた。また最後に特筆すべき点として、これまでの研究の内容を著書としてまとめた。これは2023年度中に九州大学出版会から出版することを計画しており、現在査読中である。本書はすべて英文で書かれており、無事出版ができれば国内のみならず国際的にも広く情報を発信することにつながると考える。
