博物館とはいかにすれば健全な対話の場として機能するのか。本研究は、アメリカ合衆国の民族学博物館における「脱植民地化運動」を事例に、文化人類学・歴史学・博物館研究を横断することでこの問いに答える。植民地主義に由来する博物館やコレクションを「人種」の観点から再編成することを目指すこの運動に関する言説を対象として、「対話」の構造に着目して博物館のコミュニケーションがいかに成立するのかを考察する。従来の博物館の対話分析は文化人類学理論の影響下、少数派の意見を救い、異なる意見の対話を設計する方法に重点をおいて展開してきた。博物館研究も概ねそれらを肯定的に評価してきたが、本研究ではこうした対話法自体の批判的再考を試みる。本年度も引き続き、各国のコロナ対応状況を計りつつ計画の調整をしながら研究を進めた。実地調査は日本国内に絞り、北海道白老のウポポイ（民族共生象徴空間）や阿寒アイヌコタンで実施した。他方で、継続的に進めてきた、語り・対話において博物館や記念碑が果たす役割に関する調査結果についても整理・考察し、それらを論文等の形で発表した。

The museum is located in the middle of the city and has a sound communication field and functions. This study is aimed at answering questions and answers about the case of "the de-planting and localization movement" in the ethnological museum of the United States, cultural anthropology, history and museum research. The origin of the doctrine of planting and planting is to examine the structure of the museum, which is related to the movement of "race". The analysis of the communication between museums in the future focuses on the influence of cultural anthropology theory, the rescue of minority opinions, and the design of different opinions. This study is a re-examination of the critical aspects of museum research.
