本研究ではニートをはじめとする不安定な若者の労働市場でのパフォーマンスとその後の家族形成、関連する就労支援政策の影響について明らかにすることを目的とする。今年度は、総務省統計局に昨年度から申請していた「労働力調査」および「就業構造基本調査」の調査票データの提供許可が8月末に下り、現在分析を進めている。また、雇用区分と雇用安定性の関係について、共同研究を行なった。この研究では、1 年以内の失業可能性という主観的な失業リスクと、 1 年以内の会社 都合離職率という客観的な失業リスクに焦点をあて、労働時間や契約期間、呼称による雇用形態という複数の雇用区分に基づく仕事の安定性の差異を検証した。その結果、特に近年において雇用形態による差異が顕著であることが示され、企業の雇用管理上の区分が、事実上の契約関係を内包しているとの示唆を得た。
