本研究では2001年度から2018年度までの日本のすべての生保に関する[企業]-[年]を分析単位とするパネルデータを構築し、契約獲得と解約の実績(独立変数)が成長支出(従属変数)に与える影響について、固定効果モデルによる回帰分析で定量的に明らかにする。全体の研究期間は５年であり、うち2つ目の年度(以降、本年度)が終了した。現時点では具体的な成果物はないものの、本年度までに既存研究のレビューとデータ収集の計画が完了している。今後の3年間に実施するデータ分析や論文の執筆に向けて、着実に準備を進めている。次年度では本年度に行ったデータ収集計画の実施、すなわち、データの入力委託、データのクレンジング・整理、データ分析を行う。
