本研究の目的は、在宅で療養する心不全患者の食行動に着目した自己評価尺度の開発である。本研究は、尺度開発のガイドラインなどを参考に全3段階で構成している。第１段階では、心不全患者および医療専門職者を対象とした質的記述的研究を通して尺度案を作成する。現時点では第1段階の調査開始段階であり、心不全患者および医療専門職者を対象として半構造化面接を予定している。半構造化面接の実施に向け、食行動の概念を再検討し、食行動は食材の調達や調理といった行動とそれに伴う意思決定を含んだ概念と定義した。また、食行動に影響する要因については、国際生活機能分類の枠組みを参考にすることとした。心不全患者の食行動に影響を及ぼす要因を明らかにするため、面接によって得られたデータを質的記述的な手法で分析する。また、尺度の項目案抽出のため、文献検討も実施中であり、それらの結果を活用し、尺度案を作成する。対象となる心不全患者の選定条件を満たしかつ協力可能な患者をリクルートするために、研究組織との調整が必要となり、複数の医療機関から共同研究に対する内諾が得られた。多機関共同研究として実施する予定であり、共同研究機関となる医療機関に通院する患者からリクルートすることが可能となる。共同研究機関に所属する医師および看護師からの協力が得られるため、それぞれ研究責任者または研究協力者の役割を担う予定である。第1段階の調査に向けて、共同研究機関を含めた一括審査にて倫理審査委員会へ申請中である。
