研究課題は大正、昭和初期日本の保守派と右翼の政治、国家、ユートピア論であり、4人の代表者(里見岸雄、大川周明、平泉澄、鹿子木員信)の思想を対象とする。それぞれの思想家についてまずドイツ語の論文を執筆し、次に英語に翻訳するのは研究計画である。そのために2014年から2019年までに、里見についてドイツ語の論文一本、大川についてドイツ語の論文二本、平泉についてドイツ語の論文三本を執筆した。2020年以来の研究は、平泉に関する三つのドイツ語論文を基礎とし、新しい研究を加え、まとまった英語の本を執筆することである。その平泉ついての本は元々2022年の夏に出版する予定であったが、たくさん資料を検討した過程で研究のボリュームがますます増加し、結局二つの平泉について英語の本を公開することにした。第一の本『The ‘Spirit’ of Self-Sacrifice: Hiraizumi Kiyoshi (1894-1984) and the Perception of History in Imperial Japan, PART ONE: Up to the Eve of Pearl Harbor』（ISBN 978-4-9913099-0-8）の原稿の編集・英語チェック・レイアウトなどが完成し、現在『IngramSpark』の私的出版会社によって公開途中である。（販売開始は5月下旬ごろ予定である。）第二の本『The ‘Spirit’ of Self-Sacrifice: Hiraizumi Kiyoshi (1894-1984) and the Perception of History in Imperial Japan, PART TWO: From the Pacific War to the Yasukuni Shrine』は2024年に出版する予定である。

The research topic is the opposition to the ideas of the four representatives of the right-wing conservatives in Japan in the early Taisho and Showa periods (Satomi Kishio, Okawa Shūaki, Hiraizumi Sumi, and Shikoki Tonobu). There are many thinkers who have written papers in German and translated them into English and have research projects. From 2014 to 2019, I wrote one paper in German, two papers in Ogawa, and three papers in German. The research since 2020 has been based on the three German papers published by Hiraizumi Neisuke, added to new research, and written the English version. In the summer of 2022, the publication of the original text was scheduled to be completed. The first edition of "The 'Spirit' of Self-Sacrifice: Hiraizumi Kiyoshi (1894-1984) and the Perception of History in Imperial Japan, PART ONE: Up to the Eve of Pearl Harbor"(ISBN 978-4-9913099-0-8) was compiled.
