项目摘要

本研究の目的は、作曲家平井康三郎の日本歌曲の演奏法について、作曲者の意図した演奏解釈や一次資料を基に演奏法を解析し、その演奏法を文献および映像資料として後世に継承することにある。平井康三郎の芸術歌曲は国内で頻繁に歌唱されているだけでなく、音楽大学の入学試験課題曲や音楽コンクールの課題曲としても採用されている。しかし、平井康三郎の作品に焦点を当てた先行研究は見当たらない。また近年、海外において、日本歌曲への関心は高くしばしば演奏会などで取り上げられるが、楽譜に書き表されていない演奏表現法や解釈について理解することは、困難を極める。そこで、平井康三郎の日本歌曲の演奏法を詳細に研究し、楽譜に書き表せない繊細な音楽表現を文献や録音、映像資料として残すことは、日本のクラシック音楽文化を世界に発信するための価値ある研究であると考えた。初年度は平井康三郎の日本歌曲集より《日本の笛》および《平井康三郎名歌曲集第1巻》を研究対象とし、一次資料の収集、作品リストの作成、作品の分析、作曲者自身による演奏録音の分析、演奏家へのインタビュー、演奏法の解析、研究発表を行った。一次資料の収集と分析では、《日本の笛》の初版出版当時を知る音楽家へのインタビュー調査を行うことができた。演奏法解析では第一次継承者である研究協力者との演奏実践研究を綿密に行い、歌詞の解釈、発音、発声、歌唱法、ピアノ演奏法について解析を行った。また研究発表は、国内22公演行った。さらに、音楽という時間芸術において演奏法を文字や楽譜で全て表すことが困難であるため、録音・録画資料の作成を行った。海外における研究発表は、新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行および、国際情勢の悪化による航空運賃高騰、円安、所要時間の増加等の影響により渡航は実現できなかったが、オンラインを用いてインタビューや研究発表を行うことができた。
