2022年度は、声楽教育の歴史において、呼吸法について指導されてきたかを調べるため、1908年から2021年までに出版された76冊の声楽教則本から呼吸法の章のテキストマイニングを行った。呼吸法において、かつては腹式呼吸、胸式呼吸の２通り以外にも、複数種類の呼吸法について言及されていたが、近年に近づくにつれ、歌唱時には腹式呼吸を用いることが唯一正しいといった記述が目立っており、胸式呼吸の言及機会から減っていた。歌唱において最適な呼吸法に唯一の正解はなく、歌唱ごとに異なるのではないか。という申請時に掲げた第一の問いについて考察するにあたり、重要なヒントがあると考えた。第二の問い、指導者が歌唱者の身体の状態を把握し ，歌唱者に最適な呼吸法を見出すにはどうすればいいのか、その判別指標を出すための予備実験をプロの歌い手数名を被験者として複数回行い、どのような状況下で、どのように計測するのが、この課題に適合しているか、また、どのような歌唱課題が、仮説を立てた内容の結果を導きだすか等を把握することができた。また、2021年に声楽レクチャーコンサートVol.1腹式呼吸？胸式呼吸？自分に合う呼吸法はどっち？（京都）の公演中の舞台で、プロの歌手の歌唱中に呼吸トランスデューサを腹部と胸部に取り付け計測した結果を用いて、2022年度秋季に開催された日本音楽知覚学会でポスター発表を行い、ポスター発表選奨《歌唱における呼気意識型呼吸と吸気意識型呼吸　腹部と胸部の広がりを指標とする判別方法の検討》を授賞した。
