项目摘要

研究課題に取り組んだ初年度として、琉球の旅儀礼にかかわる書籍を広く収集した。また、沖縄県、鹿児島県へ赴き資料調査、収集を行う予定を立てていたが、特に本年度の前半期は新型コロナ感染拡大が収束していない状況を鑑み、資料調査、収集のための出張が充分にできなかった。それでも、沖縄県には３度、鹿児島県には1度の出張をして一定の調査と資料収集ができた。この出張については、主に申請者が所属する大学の個人研究費を当て、一部を科研費から支出した。本年度の研究成果は、首里士族の旅儀礼の資料である『踊合－首里の旅うた』（見里春、一九七六年）に収録されている「旅グェーナ」と「だんじゅかりゆし」という二つの旅うたの口語訳をしその内容を分析して、二つのうたそれぞれの内容と歌の構成を明らかにして比較研究を行った。その成果は、立正大学人文科学研究所の紀要『立正大学人文学研究所年報』第60号（2023年3月）に「首里の旅歌－「旅グェーナ」と「だんじゅかりゆし」」として発表した。『踊合』に入る二つのうたの内容と構成を明らかにして分かったことは、二つの歌の内容は時系列的に展開しながら、それぞれが中心を置く歌の内容は独自であることが分かった。それは、一方が長詩形の叙事的な歌謡であり、もう一方が八八八六音で展開する短詩形の叙情歌であるという性格に起因すると考えられる。首里士族の旅儀礼、踊合は、この二つの歌を含む四つの歌が組み合わされて全体の旅歌が構成され、それが４度繰り返される。それぞれには、その謡い方、謡う際の所作（踊り）が異なる。それを整理して、『踊合』の中心を占める二つの歌の内容と構成を明らかに出来たことは、次年度の研究に取りかかれる研究の糸口が開かれたと考えられる。
