6月にアメリカのユダヤ系作家でホロコースト・サバイバー3世の作家Nicole KraussのGreat House（2010）について「喪失を型から起こす―The Great Houseに見るホロコースト3世の表現」を『甲南英文学』No.36/37合併号に発表。ホロコーストという歴史的悲劇を直接的には体験していないという「接触のなさ」と、しかしながら書かずにはいられないという「接続」への欲望という打ち消し合う二つの力を小説で描くためにいかなる手法がとられているのかを、マリアンヌ・ハーシュのPost Memoryの概念などを援用しつつ分析し論じた。『新潮』10月号に研究計画の対象作家であるEtgar Keret著「サルマン・ラシュディ事件の2つの悲しみ」を翻訳し掲載。表現の自由に対する暴力に対して同時代の作家であり本研究計画の研究対象であるKeretがいかに反応したのか、翻訳を通じて日本の言論界に問うた。2023年3月にイスラエルを訪問し、研究対象の作家Etgar Keret, Uzi Weil, Tel Aviv 大学教授のSonia Weinerと面談し、研究計画について助言を得た。ネタニエフ政権の「司法改革」に反対して市民のデモが続くイスラエルの民主社会の現状と、ホロコースト・サバイバーの子孫による表現のあり方などについて議論した。また、広く今後の世界における文学や出版文化の在り方、反知性主義や市民の分断などについても議論し、研究の今後の展開に非常に有益な助言を受けた。

June 2010 Nicole Krauss of the Great House (2010), author of "The Great House", was published in the merger No. 36/37 of "Kanan English Studies".
