2022年度は、本研究課題における主要テーマの一つである、高度経済成長期の「釜ヶ崎」における社会運動と労働者文化の形成について成果をまとめるべく作業に取り組んだ。具体的には、「釜ヶ崎」暴動と「釜ヶ崎」に生きる人びとのライフヒストリーに関する研究を進展させるべく史料調査に取り組んだ。まず「釜ヶ崎」暴動については、新聞記事を多く集めることができた。まず1961年に起きたいわゆる第一次釜ヶ崎暴動について、朝日・毎日・読売・産経の四大新聞に掲載された記事を収集し、その分析を終えることができた。さらに、「釜ヶ崎」に生きる人びとのライフヒストリーに関する研究については、2020年度末に発表することのできた、「釜ヶ崎」に生きるある日本人女性のライフヒストリーに関する聞き書き記録を史料とする論文をまとめるための作業に取り組んだ。具体的には、当該女性の国境を越えたボランティア活動の歴史的背景を把握するべく、キューバ革命やパレスチナの民族解放闘争に関する線研究を精査し、さらに当該女性が「釜ヶ崎」で取り組んだ社会運動の歴史的位置づけを明確にするべく、「釜ヶ崎」での社会運動に取り組む女性たちの運動団体の同人誌を収集し、その分析に取り組んだ。しかしながら、大学での業務が多忙を極めていたため、年度後半からは作業が滞ってしまい、結局この年度の研究活動は史料収集とその分析で終わってしまい、研究成果を論文としてまとめたり、学会発表を行うまでには至らなかった。
