本研究は、香港の2010年代の一連の民主化運動（セントラル占拠運動、雨傘運動、逃亡犯条例改正反対運動）の主要な運動理念となっている「市民的不服従」に焦点を当て、その背後にある宗教的要素、特にキリスト教の平和思想の影響とキリスト教ネットワークの影響を考察・分析することを目的としている。初年度は、①公に刊行されている戴耀廷・朱耀明・陳建民の文献を精読・分析し、彼らの思想形成の概要を把握すること、②「市民的不服従」と宗教思想に関する英語文献・中国語文献の購入・収集を進めること、③夏季休暇あるいは春季休暇を利用し、香港での第一回目の調査を実施することを計画していたが、①に関しては主に戴耀廷の自伝的著書『愛與和平: 未完的抗争之路』（2020年）の精読に勤めた。②に関しては、市民的不服従に関する英語・日本語文献に加えて、台湾で出版された香港民主化運動関連の文献収集に勉めた。③に関しては、コロナ禍のため、また政治情勢の様子を見る必要があるため、香港での現地調査は実施しなかった。共同研究をしている別の研究資金（JEF２１世紀財団、代表：藤野陽平、研究テーマ：戦後中華圏における民主化運動とキリスト教）で台湾現地調査をした際に、主な研究対象の一人である朱耀明氏が数年前に香港から台湾に移住していたことを知り、知人の紹介で面識を得ることができ、次回に本研究資金による現地調査・インタビューの約束を取り付けることができたのは、予定外の収穫だった。

This study aims to investigate and analyze the main movement ideas and "citizen dissatisfaction" of the successive democratization movements in Hong Kong in the 2010s (the Occupy Movement, the Umbrella Movement, and the Fugitive Offenders Corrections Movement), and the religious elements, special education, and ideological influences behind them. In the early years, Dai Yaoting, Zhu Yaoming and Chen Jianmin's literature was refined and analyzed, and their thoughts were summarized. In the early years, the English literature, China language literature, and the collection of religious thoughts were summarized. In the summer vacation, the spring vacation was utilized. In the early years, Hong Kong's first survey was conducted. The investigation of the situation in Hong Kong is necessary. Joint research, separate research funding (JEF 21st Century Finance, Representative: Fujino Yohei, Research Center: After the democratization movement in China, Zhu Yaoming investigated Taiwan in the field, and the main research target was Zhu Yaoming. A few years ago, Zhu Yaoming visited Hong Kong and Taiwan to move to China. He knew about Taiwan, and he knew about Taiwan, and he knew about Taiwan. He went back to China to investigate Taiwan, and he paid for Taiwan's research.
