SDGs達成のためには、個人の行動変容を促すことが肝要で、ちょっとした後押しをすることで自発的な行動を促すことができるナッジの活用が効果があると認められている。しかし、長期的な効果があるかについては様々な研究結果がもたらされている。これらを受けて、本研究では (1)行動変容を促すことを目的とした政策介入効果の異質性を明らかにすること、(2)それらの政策介入は長期的な効果があるのかを検証することを目的としている。そのために、所属大学内でのパイロット調査を実施し、それを受けて全国規模のサーベーイ実験を実施し、論文執筆を行う予定である。また、収集したデータについては、他者が活用できるようにオープンデータとして、ミクロパネルデータを整備し公開予定である。研究初年度である2022年度は、調査を実施するための環境整備、分析手法やサステーナブル行動の長期介入効果を中心に文献調査を行った。また、事前調査の一環として本研究期間開始前に実施した大学生を対象としたSDGsの情報効果介入実験について研究結果をまとめて、2022年10月に実施された環境経済・政策学会2022年大会で研究発表を実施した。この研究発表では大学生の職業選択においてSDGsへの取り組みを行うことへの選好や情報の効果について分析した。情報の効果のみならず、被験者が情報をどのように処理し、情報の受け止め方がどのように選好に影響するかを分析したことがこの研究の特徴であり、学会発表で得たコメントを受けて論文を執筆し国際誌へ投稿予定である。
