项目摘要

本研究では、近年、米中貿易戦争や新型コロナウイルス感染拡大によりサプライチェーンが寸断されるリスクが顕在化し、サプライチェーンの効率性と強靭性の両立に関する議論が注目を集めていることを踏まえ、多国籍企業のサプライチェーンを通じた外的ショック波及のパターン・メカニズムおよび、その影響の詳細を明らかにすることを目的とする。1年目である2022年度は、以前から準備していたASEANのFDIについての予備的な分析を国際学会East Asian Economic Associationで発表した。この研究では各種集計データ、および企業レベル・データを用い、日中韓、およびASEAN諸国の対内直接投資、および対外直接投資の動向を記述統計により整理し、Bilateral Investment TreatyやFTAの影響などに注目した計量的手法により分析している。もう一つ、日本の企業・事業所レベル・データを利用して、中国輸入浸透率上昇に対する日本企業の対応について分析した論文をディスカッションペーパーとして取り纏めている。この論文では、雇用調整と製品転換に注目して、中国輸入浸透率の上昇に対しての企業の対応を分析した。さらに、2022年度は多国籍企業のサプライチェーンの強靭性を分析するにあたり欠かせない経済産業省「経済産業省の海外事業活動基本調査」、「海外現地法人四半期調査」の調査票情報の二次利用を申請した。パネルデータを構築し、米中貿易戦争の影響で在ASEAN日系現地法人の輸出動向にどのような変化がみられたのかについてPreliminaryな計量分析を実施している。

This study is aimed at exploring the impact of trade disputes between China and the United States in recent years on the efficiency and toughness of new types of enterprises. It is our goal to clarify the impact of the company in detail. In 2022, the East Asian Economic Association issued a report on preparations for ASEAN FDI. This study describes the trends of domestic and foreign direct investment in various countries, including Japan, China, South Korea and ASEAN, and analyzes the methods of measuring the impact of Bilateral Investment treaties and FTAs. Japanese companies are facing an increasing penetration rate in China. This paper focuses on the analysis of the increase of China's import penetration rate and the enterprise's response to employment adjustment and product change In fiscal 2022, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Industry conducted a Basic Survey of Overseas Business Activities and a Quarterly Survey of Overseas Local Corporations to analyze the resilience of multinational companies. The impact of trade disputes between China and Japan on export trends of ASEAN Japanese companies is analyzed by quantitative analysis.
