项目摘要

本研究課題では、補完的な複数の研究テーマについて、異質的企業を考慮した一般均衡モデル（以下HFM）に基づく定量分析を行い、特にわが国経済において、企業動学がマクロ経済全体に果たす役割と望ましい政策の在り方について、多角的な視点から明らかにすることである。第一に、直接投資を通じた企業動学と人口動態・国際資金フローの関係について研究を進めた。人口動態は、既存研究でも国際資金フローの有意な決定要因として捉えられているが、本研究では、国際資金フローを直接投資と証券投資に分けてモデル化し、日本の少子高齢化の影響を分析している。定量分析では、（１）日本の経常収支と部門別貯蓄の動向は、人口動態の変化だけで十分に説明できること、（２）異質的な多国籍企業の直接投資に関する決定が、それらの動向を説明する鍵になることを明らかにした。第二に、労働市場の柔軟性が、起業スピリット、企業の参入・退出、経済成長に対してどういった影響を与えるのかという点に関して研究を進めた。2022年度は、研究年度の初年度ということもあり、既存文献のサーベイ、モデルの構築、データベースの整備など、定量的な研究を開始する上での基礎的な作業を行った。具体的には、シュンペーター型の経済成長モデルに、家計の起業に関する判断を織り込んだHFMを構築し、シミュレーションのためのプログラムを作成した。また、経済産業省「経済産業省企業活動基本調査」のミクロデータを統計法に基づいて入手し、HFMのパラメータ推計に用いている。2023年度以降は、解雇規制の緩和を含めた労働市場の規制緩和が、起業や経済成長に与える影響について、上記のHFMを用いた定量分析を継続して行うほか、労働市場の柔軟性に関する社会厚生分析について、新たにHFMを用いた研究を開始する予定である。
