本年度は，研究項目1「...中央銀行の金融政策運営と財政当局の財政運営の相互関係を考慮しつつ，中央銀行の国債引受が維持可能な政策かを検討できるモデルを構築する」作業を中心に遂行した．この作業を進めるにあたって，まず近年の政府債務政策と金融政策運営に関する先行研究のサーベイ作業を進めた．近年，米国などにおいて，金利と成長率や財政の維持可能性に関する研究が活発になっている．この文脈の中で，財政分野のみに注目するのではなく，政府債務発行と金融当局の関係を明示的に考慮しつつ今後の財政運営について議論している論文が複数登場している．これらの近年の研究の流れをおさえることが本研究プロジェクトにおいても重要である．また，これらの文脈も踏まえたうえで，基礎となるモデルの構築作業を進めている．基礎となるモデルの構築や分析作業を取りまとめ，フィードバックを得るために研究会や学会などでの研究報告を行うことを今後の目標とする．また，上記のサーベイ調査は，研究項目2「日本銀行の量的緩和政策による国債引受行動が変化することで，将来の日本財政や日本経済に対して与える影響を分析する」作業に対しても必要となるものである．当初計画にも記載の通り，先行研究の調査を通じて，研究項目2のための基礎的な情報収集もあわせて行なった形となる．先行研究の調査や項目1のモデル構築作業を通じて，項目2のために必要となる分析内容や想定されるメカニズムの洗い出しの作業もあわせて進めている．
