本研究の目的は、精神保健福祉士によるソーシャルアクションの研修プログラム開発である。研究の成果として、研修プログラム開発の基礎資料となる博士学位論文（研究テーマ：ソーシャルワークにおけるソーシャルアクションのモデル形成―精神保健福祉士の実践に着目して―）を提出した。精神保健福祉士を対象にソーシャルアクションに関する学びのニーズを分析し、【先駆的な実践事例の詳細なプロセス】【ソーシャルアクション理論と方法論】【アクションの始め方】【行政機関へのアプローチ】【社会調査法の修得】【相互交流の機会】【ソーシャルアクションの普及啓発】【スーパーバイズ機能】という８つのカテゴリーに分類した。とくにソーシャルアクションの先駆的な実践事例や具体的な方法論に関する学びのニーズが高いと考えられた。また、行政機関との連携や社会調査については、実践が困難な状況もあり、これらの学びを深める機会の必要性が示唆された。これらの結果をふまえ、ソーシャルアクションの第一歩を踏み出すためのプレ研修を実施した。精神保健福祉士をはじめ、地域づくりに関心のある参加者より、希望する研修テーマやソーシャルアクションの実践課題に関する意見集約を行った。主な意見としては、前述の研究成果と同様のテーマが挙げられていた。プレ研修を継続し、ソーシャルアクションのモデルを基に作成した研修プログラム案のブラッシュアップが今後の課題となる。

The purpose of this study is to develop a research program for mental health and well-being.
