本研究に通底する目的は、児童虐待発生予防を目指す家庭養育を推進するペアレンティングプログラムを研究開発することにある。すなわち、多様なニーズを抱えた親と子の関係性を育む媒体として、さらに健全育成を促進する資源として、児童虐待防止を主軸に据えた共通基盤としてのプログラムが必要と考える。1年目は、「プログラムの現状把握」を具体的な目的とした。研究計画では、1年目は「 家庭養育に向けたペアレンティングプログラムの現状及び問題把握」と位置づけ、「文献研究・先行事例の資料収集」から検討することとした。2022年度は、研究会を4回（オンライン開催含む）実施し、以下３点を研究実績と考えた。第１に当該年度に改正された児童福祉法と本研究目的や意義を議論し検討した。改正児童福祉法では新規事業として、身近な場所や市町村におけるペアレンティングの実施が打ち出されていたため、本研究の必要性を改めて確認できた。第２に学術雑誌からの依頼があり、「虐待を予防する保護者支援プログラム」の題目で、執筆した。児童虐待防止にフォーカスした保護者支援プログラムは、すべての親を対象にした予防的内容から、個別支援を中心とする再発防止プログラムまで幅広く展開されてる。執筆原稿では11のプログラムをあげ、その内容を簡潔に紹介した。第３に先行研究の整理に取り掛かった。親に限らず多様な支援を行う保護者支援とプログラムに注目し、研究者間で分担し行った。
