项目摘要

本研究の目的は3点ある。第1の目的は高齢者を対象とした縦断的調査を行い、新型コロナウイルス感染症が高齢者の社会的孤立に及ぼす影響について検討することである。第2は、認知症カフェに参加する高齢者を対象とし、認知症カフェへの参加回数やその中での交流が社会的孤立と認知機能に及ぼす影響について明らかにすることである。第3は、社会的孤立の主観的・客観的な側面をそれぞれ測定し、交流内容や精神的健康との関係について明らかにすることである。本年度はこれらの目的のうち、社会的孤立と認知機能との関係および精神的健康との関連に焦点を当てて研究を行った。具体的には、介護を要する高齢者およびその家族を対象としたウェブ調査を行い、社会的孤立尺度得点と簡易的な認知機能検査および抑うつ尺度（K-6）得点との関連について分析を行った。その結果、高齢者および介護者において、社会的孤立が抑うつに強く関連していることが明らかとなった。今後は、この社会的孤立に関連する個人内要因について明らかにするとともに、地域独自の要素などを取り入れた社会的要因について多角的に分析を行う予定である。本年度の課題として、当初は認知症カフェの実施主体とともに地域において調査を実施する予定であったが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大が収まりつつあるとはいえ、対面による調査を実施することは難しく、年度末までに地域での調査が実施できなかったことが挙げられる。本研究の目的を達成するためには、地域の認知症カフェにおける調査研究が強く求められるため、次年度の調査開始に向け、関係者との協議を積極的に行っていく予定である。
