项目摘要

初年度である令和4年度は、第一に批判的人種理論（Critical Race Theory: CRT）およびホワイトネス研究などマジョリティの特権性に関する文献調査を中心に進めた。本研究の位置付けを精緻化するため、主に英語圏での移民の教育研究に対するCRTの貢献と今後の展望について検討した。第二に、移民生徒に対する教員の受け入れ意識に関する国内ケーススタディの一つとして、外国につながる生徒が多く在籍する高校において生徒調査および教員調査を実施した。具体的には、中国やネパールからの移民生徒を中心に、外国につながる生徒が生徒全体のおよそ6割を占める定時制高校において、全生徒を対象に学習と学校生活に関する質問紙調査を、また進路指導に関わる教員3名を対象にヒアリング調査を行った。ネパール出身の生徒について特に学習や学校生活に対して親和的な態度が見られた。一方で、教員のヒアリングでは着任時の外国籍生徒の多さに対する驚きや戸惑い、日本の学校生活における慣習の多くが共有されていないことやその指導に関する課題感が見られた。しかし、外国につながる生徒の家庭背景や出身国での学校経験等を知ることによって徐々に生徒理解が深まり、多様な文化的背景を持つ生徒の指導に対して前向きな捉え方に変化する可能性も見られた。外国につながる生徒と日本国籍生徒を比較可能な形で全生徒を対象に質問紙調査を実施できたことは大変貴重であり、成果を学会発表にて報告したが今後さらに論文の形にまとめていきたい。第三に、外国につながる児童が多く在籍する小学校を訪問し、学校選択制が敷かれる中で生徒の文化的多様性が高い現状が保護者や教員からどのように受け止められているか等についてヒアリングを行った。この学校における調査は2件目の国内ケーススタディとして令和5年度に継続して実施する予定である。

Third, foreign countries, children, primary schools, visits, school selection systems, cultural diversity of students, status quo, protectors, teachers, teachers, etc. The survey includes 2 items of domestic training and 5 items of pre-determined training.
