项目摘要

感情，行動，思考の制御は，実行機能と呼ばれる脳内プロセスに依存している。そのため，実行機能は子どもの学力と対人関係の両方を左右する能力として欧米では注目されている。その感受期とされる就学前後の子どもを対象とした実行機能向上のための介入研究が盛んに行われているが，日本においてはあまり知られていない。そこで，筆者は北米の教育プログラムを参考に，実行機能を向上させるSocial Thinking & Academic Readiness Training (START) プログラムを開発し，子どもたちの実行機能の向上のために国内各地で介入研究を実施してきた。しかし，新型コロナウィルス・パンデミックの中，対面方式の介入研究を進めることは難しい。一方，学校では児童一人一台端末と高速通信環境のGIGAスクール構想が急速に進行しており，対面授業から大きく変化しつつある。そこで，従来，STARTプログラムの研修を受けた担任教師が行っていた指導を，外部の専門家がリモートで行い，また，これまで子どもとの対面で実施していた実行機能の課題測定をリモートで実施し，安全で学校に負担なく実施できる研究方法を構築する。2022年度は、小学校通常学級及び特別支援学級でのリモート介入研究に向けての準備を行った。(1)STARTプログラムの各レッスンの改編については、学校の授業開始時または終了時のホームルームで使用できるように、従来のSTARTプログラムを10分程度のレッスンに短縮したシナリオを作成した。(2)リモートによる測定方法の検討については、授業時の教師の指示に対する児童の応答性の測定の準備は整った。しかし、実行機能の直接測定の測定ソフトについてはまだ検討中である。
