2022年度は、実習、就職の配慮・支援策を検討するための基礎研究として、背景に発達障害(傾向)があり困り感を抱える学生と、そのような学生を受け入れる保育施設の実態調査を行った。①困り感のある学生の困難の特徴について質問紙調査を、②①の質問紙調査で数値に表れた困り具合の高い学生と、そのような学生を受け入れる保育施設の保育者の困難状況について面接調査を行った。その結果、①困り感の高い学生には、精神的健康度や肯定的な自己理解が低い、実習に対する不安・実習忌避感が高い、肯定的な自己理解が低いという傾向が見られた。また、援助関係に対する抵抗感が高く、困り感があっても自分から支援を求めることが難しい可能性が示された。②-1学生との面接からは、実習中の困難について言語化することにより、自己省察が促される機会になったことが示された。②-2実習先施設の指導者との面接からは、配慮の必要な実習生の特性をつかみきれないことに起因する指導上の難しさが浮かび上がった。実習生が自らの強みや弱みを正しく認識し、指導者にそれを伝え、質問することの重要性、及び指導者が実習生の特性について理解することが双方の困難解消につながる可能性が示唆された。本実態調査から、配慮の必要な学生に対して、養成校において実施可能な次の具体的な支援への手がかりを得た。第1に学生からの支援要請がなくても支援につながるシステムを構築する、第2に学生自身で自己管理をし、適切に周囲に伝え、環境を整えるといったことができるように、教員は学生との対話を通して自己理解を助け、具体的な方法を共に考える、という支援の方向性が見えた。
