本研究目的は、このグローバル型熟練技能の熟達化に大きく影響を与える汎用スキルを技能五輪国際大会代表選手の模範事例からマイニングして熟達指標とともに標準化し，それらを実装したこれまでにない職業訓練プログラムを開発，その有効性を技能五輪国際大会代表選手の強化訓練で実証することである。令和４年度の予定では、令和4年に上海で開催される第46 回国際大会代表選手を対象に調査を行う予定であった。全63 職種のうち，対象職種は実施される6 つのセクタ（Construction and Building Technology，Creative Arts　and Fashion ， Information and Communication　Technology Manufacturing and Engineering　Technology，Social and Personal Services，Transportation and Logistics）から均等に抽出し、対象選手は，計360 人程度（日本選手60 人，海外選手300 人）を予定していた。しかし、上海で予定されていた国際大会がコロナウイルス感染拡大により中止になり、その後、第46回技能五輪国際大会（特別開催）」が, 9月から11月にわたり, 日本を含む15か国、62職種で開催された. 様々な国で開催されることになったため、海外選手の調査を行うことは断念し、国内の選手とコーチ（エキスパート）に汎用スキル(レジリエンス)のアンケート調査協力とTOEICのListening ＆Readingの受験の依頼し、データの取得を試みた。急遽変更になった国際大会の前ということで、あまり協力を得られず、TOEIC は7名、アンケートのデータ数は選手20名、コーチ（エキスパート）12名となった。
